
๐ชโจ๐Double Chocolate chip Pecan Cookies๐ชโจ๐
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cup AP Flour Sifted
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
- 2 Sticks salted butter soften butter
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon optional
- 1 tsp Almond extract
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Premium Baking Chip used Ghirardell brand
- 1/2 chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon salt in a bowl and set aside
- with a hand mixer or stand mixer cream together brown sugar, granulated Sugar the almond and vanilla extract and butter in large bowl until light and fluffy
- add eggs in one at a time until fully incorporated. (I know in video I added them both in but do better than me I was moving fast๐ซฃ
- combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients slowly so about a 1/2 cup at a time until all the dry ingredients are incorporated.
- add in your chocolate chips and pecans and fold them in. Get your ice cream scooper and scoop out the dough onto a baking sheet about two inches apart depending on how big you make them add more chocolate chips on top if you would like
- bake for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are nice and brown and the center is a little under done. they will firm up as they cool. that first bite out the oven is heaven!!!

I like to add a dash of cinnamon to me it takes the cookies to another level.
Also cover and ย chill the dough for about and hour to 30 minutes. you do not have to! but Its also just something I formed out of habit.
make these cookies however big or small if you want bite size cookies you can eat more ๐
