
🐓✨🫑🧿Creamy Jerk Chicken Thighs 🐓✨🫑🧿
Ingredients
- 4-6 Bone-in Chicken Thighs You can use boneless
- 3 tbsp Jerk Seasoning use dry seasoning. If unable to find dry use Walkers wood Traditional Jamaican Jerk Seasoning 1 tsp per chicken breast
- 1 shallot diced
- 1 purple onion diced
- Chopped bell peppers red/ yellow/ orange
- 1/3 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1 tbsp white cooking wine
- salt &pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels want them to be dry to crisp
- rub Jerk seasoning all over chicken thighs. heat olive oil in skillet and place them in skin down cook until nice and golden. flip and cook for another 10 minutes. remove chicken set on a plate.
- should still be a little oil in bottom of pan, add in diced shallots, onion, and fresh garlic and cook until fragrant scrapping to get the bits from the bottom.
- add in the chicken broth and white cooking wine, also add in garlic powder. turn the heat down and add heavy cream and let simmer for about 5 minutes.until the sauce thickens.
- add chicken to sauce top with bell peppers cover let simmer for about another 5 minutes adding parsley and serve. eat with veggies or add over pasta or mashed potatoes 🙂

Notes
TIPS:
You can add butter 1 tbsp of butter if the oil from the chicken has completely evaporated.
You can add more jerk seasoning to the sauce while its simmering to add more flavor.
Also adding red pepper flakes can turn up the spice.
If sauce is too thick loosen it with more chicken stock 1 tbsp at a time to reach your desired constancy.
Throw in some green onion (optional)
