🍑✨🧿Peach Cobbler Cinnamon rolls🍑✨🧿

Equipment

  • 1 Kitchen aid stand mixer

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 packet of active dry yeast 2 1/4 teaspoons
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp vanilla

filling

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups whole peaches diced save 1/4 cup

Frosting

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered suger
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp almond extract

Instructions
 

  • in a stand mixture bowl add in warm milk and packet of yeast and sugar set and let sit for about 10 minutes. the mixture will turn foamy that means its activated.
  • add melted butter and egg to yeast mixture to sugar and and vanilla mix a bit then add flour and turn on stand mixture with dough hook and put on medium speed until dough forms, dough should form a ball and be smooth. can take about 9-10 minutes
  • take dough out put in a greased bowl cover and let rise double in size. add flour on work surface with rolling pin make a rectangle. in a bowl add cinnamon sugar and nutmeg whisk together. spread the stick of butter over dough and sprinkle the nutmeg and cinnamon mixture on dough
  • evenly distribute the peaches. you are able to use frozen peaches make sure you dice them and spread them evenly over the dough.
  • roll up into the log from the longer side and pinch the seam down slice the rolls up.place the rolls in a greased pan and cover until puffy double in size. bake rolls in 350 degrees oven. takes about 15-20 minutes until golden brown depending on oven could take 20 minutes or longer set timer and keep eye.
  • start preparing the frosting add all ingredients in standing mixing bowl, place whisk hook on and beat until its smooth. if too thick for your liking add more milk 1 tsp at a time until reach a smooth consistency.
  • take cinnamon rolls out and top with icing and serve and enjoy.

Notes

with this recipe you can save more peaches to top and even add pecans to give a crunch. because ovens are finicky make sure you keep and eye make sure the middle is done.
