Creamy Ground turkey cheesy past
I love a one Pot meal, especially so close to school time it’s super easy and also a Huge time saver. I do not want to stand over the stove for hours after running my kids around all day! this recipe is packed with flavor and its simple dimple(that rhymed) ๐
Ground Turkey Creamy Cheesy Pasta
Back to school ๐ I love when it's time to send my kids back to school! I try to find the easiest dish to make and this is EASY! I call it dummy proof because you can't mess it up. Its extremely tasty ๐ also very delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground turkey you can use ground beef
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 cup white cheddar cheese
- 3 cups beef stock
- 8 oz pasta shells
- 1 cup heavy cream
- yellow onion diced
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp gourmet burger seasoning
- 3 tbsp garlic powder
- salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- In a large pot, add in your ground turkey and onion and and season meat with dry seasons listed. cook until done and drain meat and set aside in bowl.
- using that same large pot on medium high heat.add in your butter wait until its melted and add in flour stirring for 30 seconds, then you are going to start whisking in your beef broth. bring to a boil
- You want to add in your tomato sauce and stir completely add in cooked pasta shells and turkey meat cook for about 10 minutes on low heat until the constancy is thick, next add in heavy whipping cream and cheese. season with more garlic powder and salt and pepper until your liking. Top it off with red pepper flakes and serve.
Notes
Cook pasta according to package directions SET ASIDE but LEAVE AL DENTE THE PASTA WILL FINISH COOKING IN POT.
Also you can use more beef stock if it becomes to thick measure in 2tbsp at a time get the right consistency.
If you like extra spice add in more red pepper flakes.
