Ingredients
  

  • 3 Cups Ap flour
  • 3 Cups Sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 stick salted butter soften
  • 1/2 cup Shortening  butter flavor
  • 5 eggs Large room temp
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp almond
  • 1 tsp butter extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk

ALMOND BUTTER GLAZE🧈💋

  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cups water
  • 2 tsp almond extract
  • 1 tsp butter extract

Instructions
 

  • Grease and flour a Bundt pan very well Preheat oven to 325°F.
  • in a stand mixer, cream butter and Shortening until light and fluffy
  • Add the eggs one at a time, rotating with the sugar and mixing well after each addition. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to keep the batter smooth and fully combined add in the extracts, almond ,butter, vanilla
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together Flour,Baking powder, salt
  • Add dry ingredients to the batter alternating with buttermilk Mix just until combine do not over mix
  • pour batter into prepared Bundt pan.Bake 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Butter Glaze

  • In a saucepan over medium heat: Melt butter Stir in sugar and water add extracts Heat until sugar dissolves.Do not boil
  • While cake is still hot and in the pan: Poke deep holes all over cake I used the end of thermometer but if you have a skewer use that
    Slowly pour about 1/2 of the glaze over the cake.
    Let sit 15 minutes to absorb.
  • Carefully remove cake from cake pan and allow the cake to cool MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE CAKE OR IT WILL STICK!
    and let the syrup to absorb, for about another 30-45 minutes
  • brush remaining glaze over the top for shine and drip.enjoy

  1. For the best flavor and texture, let the cake sit covered at room temperature overnight.  The butter glaze fully absorbs, and the flavor deepens beautifully by the next day. then add more glaze to the cake .
  2. Always pour the glaze over the cake while it’s still hot and in the pan. This helps the glaze soak in properly and creates that signature buttery crust.
  3. Warm any remaining glaze slightly before pouring over the top after flipping for a glossy, bakery-style finish.
