🥩💋✨🎀Sizzling Steak Fajita Skillet 🥩💋✨🎀
Ingredients
- 1 lb steak diced into cubes sirloin or flank
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper,
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup long grain white rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 10oz can Rotel DO NOT drain
- 1.5 cup white queso cheese
- Fresh cilantro
- 1 fresh jalapeño
- bell peppers topping
- sour cream topping
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.Add olive oil to the bottom of the pan.Add diced steak and season with taco seasoning and dry seasonings
- Cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.Remove steak from skillet and place into a bowl.set aside
- Add dry rice directly into the same skillet with the leftover oil, seasoning, and meat drippings. Stir well to coat the rice in flavor.Toast for 1–2 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth.Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Once rice is cooked: Add steak back on topPour in the entire can of Rotel (undrained) Spoon white queso over the mixtureCover loosely and allow cheese to melt.
- Top with chopped cilantro and sliced jalapeños.Serve straight from the skillet while hot and melty.
