Seafood Noodle Soup

Instead Of the regular chicken noodle soup I wanted to make seafood noodle soup.
Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 1 hour
Servings 10

Ingredients
  

  •  Alaska cod
  • 1 pound Mussels you can use clams or Mussels
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 Pound shrimp Make sure the shrimp is cleaned.
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 Green Bell pepper diced
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 1 lemon this is to squeeze on seafood
  • 5 Garlic cloves diced finely
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp garlic butter
  • 2 tbsp old bay
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp cajun season
  • red pepper flakes
  • No Yolk noodles use half the pack. egg noodles work also

Instructions
 

  • heat the butter in a dutch oven over medium heat. Add the onions & bell pepper and garlic with a small pinch of salt. Sauté three to five minutes, until the onions are browning in places.
  • Add the cleaned mussels and the cup of wine. Put the lid on and let them simmer/steam anywhere from eight to ten minutes, until they’ve all opened up.
  • Remove the mussels from the pot with tongs and set aside for a little bit.
  • To the pot add the stock, cream, diced tomatoes and yolk noodles Let this come to a simmer,
  • add the shrimp and fish, cooking another eight or so minutes, until it’s all cooked through.
  •  and finally the clams. Give it a light stir and serve immediately!
    top it with cheese

Notes

Make Sure You clean the mussels let them sit in cold salted water for at least an hour so that the grit and sand fall out 
Also season the fish and shrimp with whatever seasonings you like I also put a little mrs.Dash into the soup at the end!
