Vegan “Beef Tips & Rice”
Vegan “Beef Tips”
Obsessed with rice and gravy This is my favorite meal, Trying to figure out how to make one of my favorite dishes "vegan" was a task but I DID IT! Was so good.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp fresh garlic
- 2 10oz Bags of Beyond Meat Beyond Steak Plant-based Seared Tips
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- Sliced Bell Peppers red and yellow and green
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 cups beef stock
- salt & pepper taste
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- In a medium bowl add in the vegan "beef" tips and mix in the fresh garlic, onion powder, garlic powder and mix together.
- In a large sauce pan over medium-high heat add olive oil to bottom of the pan and add in the "beef" tips cook for about 5 minutes and get a nice sear on each to them. remove them from the pan and put in bowl.
- In the same sauce pan add in the sliced bell peppers and cook until sautéed and soft. Once the bell peppers are cooked sprinkle flour over bell peppers mix the flour together.
- slowly add in the beef stock into the saucepan continuously stirring until fully mixed in. bring to a boil add in salt and pepper to taste and add in "beef" back into the pan reduce heat cover until gravy has thicken.
- Once the sauce has thicken add gravy on top of rice and serve and enjoy.
