Want to make Homemade pasta? This is my go to recipe and it makes enough for lasagna or spaghetti. 🙂 Love this pasta recipe double if you are feeding Lots of people ✨
Ingredients
- 3 Cups Italian Double Zero 00 Flour You can use all purpose but this work better in my opinion
- 4 Large Eggs slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp olive oil extra virgin
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- flat surface, the flour in a round bowl type shape Create a well in the center of the dough for the eggs, about 5 inches wide.
- add your eggs/ salt and olive EVOO to a bowl and whisk until everything is combine.
- Add the eggs to the well Start whisking the eggs with the fork, gradually incorporating flour from the sides of "bowl shape you have made.
- If the well starts to crack while whisking in the eggs just push it back together. If the well breaks completely, just quickly add the flour into the eggs and start working the dough with your hands until everything is combined continue to knead the dough. cover for 30 minutes
- Unwrap the dough and cut into 4 equal pieces. flatten one of the pieces into a rectangle and roll out on a flat floured surface until flat enough to put through your kitchen aid mixer and start to form your lasagna noodles or whatever pasta of your choice.
- cut into strips of lasagna and sprinkle with flour and do this until all of your pasta dough has been used or store in freezer in airtight container. for up to a month until ready to use or make
