Vegan Big Mac Sliders
Looking for something easy to make for dinner time! These are perfect for an after school snack 🙂
Vegan “Big Mac” Sliders
I love sliders they're super easy & do not require a lot of standing over the stove. Since school is about to start back quick easy meals are the way to go. pair these with fries or even a side salad your kids will love them!
Ingredients
- 1 pack of slider buns I used Hawaiian rolls
- 2 1/2 cups shredded lettuce
- 10 slices of American cheese used follow your heart vegan cheese
- 2 14oz bags of Frozen Ground Be'f Crumbles used Gardein brand
- dill pickles not a huge pickle lover
- 1 purple onion chopped
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Mac sauce
- 1/2 cup mayo used vegan
- 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1/2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F. cover a 9×13 baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray
- In a small bowl, combine the ingredients for the sauce. Mix together and set aside
- In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped onions and add "ground beef" season with salt and pepper to taste cook "meat" according to package directions turn stove off when done
- Place the bottoms of the slider buns in the prepared dish or sheet pan.
- Spread a thin layer of the big mac sauce on the bottom buns
- top with lettuce onion and cheese and pickles
- Place top buns on the sliders. brush the top of buns with melted butter I seasoned my melted butter with garlic powder.
- cover with foil and cook in oven for about 10 minutes until cheese melts. serve and enjoy!
Notes
you can add sesame seeds for the “look” but I am not a fan of seeds!
