Notes

✨ The Fancy Mom Tips

  • Don't throw away your pasta water! Reserve about 1 cup before draining. If your sauce gets too thick, simply stir in a splash of the pasta water to loosen it up.
  • Use whatever sausage or meat your family loves. Beef sausage, smoked turkey sausage, chicken sausage, or even grilled chicken all work beautifully in this recipe.
  • No half-and-half? No problem! Substitute it with whole milk for a lighter but still delicious creamy sauce.
  • Taste as you go! Everyone's palate is different, so taste your sauce along the way and add more seasoning if needed. Don't be afraid to make it your own!
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese melts and tastes better than the pre-grated kind, giving your pasta the best flavor and finish.
  • Serve with warm garlic bread and a fresh salad for the ultimate comfort meal.
