Preheat oven to 350
with a standing mixer Beat butter until creamy and gradually add sugar beat until well combined
Add cream cheese and beat until fully incorporated with ingredients
Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until blended after each addition.
Add in vanilla extract
Gradually add flour slowly turn mixer to a low speed setting
take diced strawberries and ad them to a saucepan
add sugar and cornstarch add in strawberry extract Then stir in water
Cook and stir the strawberry mixture for 3 minutes or until it has thickened
remove from heat let cool
in your cake pan add half of the cake batter
then add cooled strawberry sauce to top the cake batter be careful when scooping. pour the remains batter on top of sauce
bake in oven for 60 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean .
let cake cool and top with powdered sugar and fresh strawberries
